Odyssey Wealth is a new Canadian company aimed at helping Christian individuals, families, and business owners manage their wealth meaningfully. The goal is to educate and provide expert financial planning and services to fellow believers, enabling them to use their finances for ministry that honours God. The launch comes with a fresh visual identity to establish its presence in the market.
The Challenge
Odyssey Wealth, a new startup with a limited budget, needed a brand identity for its upcoming soft launch. The challenge was to develop a logo mark, colour palette, and typography system from scratch, as the brand foundation has not yet been established.
Goals
Define the brand's purpose, mission, vision, and goals.
Create a clear digital guide for stakeholders and creators to manage brand assets, including proper use of the logo, colors, visual treatment, and typography, as designed by KronicThinker.
Process
Discovery
Discovery through a series of virtual meetings. Research to verify pain points then presented the Scope of Design solution.
Define Pain Points
Verify pain points through research. gather data and get insight.
Strategy Presentation
Define clear objectives, create a step-by-step plan, design using UX principles with prototypes and testing, track and refine, then launch.
Solution
Odyssey Wealth aims to provide clarity for clients navigating their financial journeys, empowering Christian families to grow, preserve, and pass on their wealth through encouragement, education, and coaching.
The brand mark, inspired by a sea creature and the story of the Odyssey, also resembles the Christian fish symbol, reflecting resilience with Viking aesthetics.
This design evokes emotions and embodies the values that guide us, reminding us that while challenges are inevitable, victory awaits those who persevere. We developed a cohesive brand identity, including the logo, colours, and styles, all captured in a digital guide that aligns with the personality of Odyssey Wealth.
Impact
Visual Identity is not all what a brand is. It could take up to a minimum of months to a year to be understood by the target audience no matter the amount of effort and volume of brand messaging. Awareness to the services and offerings brand recognition is a long journey, but with consistency in every touchpoints and communications it can be achieved.
